A wedding photographer or a portrait studio will not be able to give models what they need for an effective modeling portfolio, as you have to know what you are doing!This is the 12th picture in our Tampa Bay Modeling online portfolio. It doesnt matter, anymore, especially in Tampa Bay. New Site Online!

Today, one year and three months since the original launch of Tampa Bay Modeling, and over seven months since the design of a new version of the site began, Tampa Bay Modeling launched a brand new site, designed to inspire change in the Tampa Bay modeling industry for at least the next five years. The new site is optimized to help regulate industry rates in the Tampa Bay market, and retains several experimental features, such as the successful reverse auction system for modeling industry services. We have added an opinion section, which is formatted much like a blog with posts from the models on our staff, and are currently working on a new-generation mail bag. One big addition is the inclusion of pictures in our new design, which serves to help models and photographers market themselves as the pictures are used throughout the Tampa Bay Modeling site. Currently, our new online portfolio section is offline, but the site can easily facilitate the addition of pictures and bring our portfolio online when we are ready. A series of micro-thumbnail buttons over the section headers will highlight the newest added images, which will lead directly to our online portfolio section when it becomes available. This year, we will begin to host articles and other exclusive content, as well as Tampa Bay market optimized versions of material already hosted on sites like Independent Modeling. We will also be the second site to feature the ongoing modeling series Born Beautiful, which is about the adventures of Tampa Bay freelance model Cameron Passinault. The versions of the Born Beautiful episodes on Tampa Bay Modeling will have new additions exclusive to our site, too! We will also feature model stories and anecdotes, as well as tutorials and interactive tutorials originally developed by our friends at Independent Modeling.
This year, we are improving the reverse auction system to include businesses and photographers who want to have models or each other bid for services, balancing out the process and enhancing negotiations. The newest additions to the reverse auction bidding system does not depend on our message boards, either, and can be set up on any message board forum on the Internet. As a courtesy, and an experiment, we will continue to have a reverse auction system on our message boards when available.
We will be working with leading model resource site Independent Modeling and the upcoming Advanced Model to help models and professionals in the modeling industry this year. We will tackle modeling geographically, addressing the industry in the Tampa Bay market and central Florida. Our friends at Independent Modeling are a top modeling resource on a state and national level, and Advanced Model will be an industry and world-wide resource and online magazine addressing the Independent Freelance Modeling movement as well as the old, agency-based modeling industry.
Welcome to a new era in the Tampa Bay modeling industry, and welcome to the next chapter of the Tampa Bay Modeling web site!
