Studio photography is not nearly as cost effective, or appropriate, for modeling portfolio work.Keep in mind that this picture, for a modeling portfolio, was taken by a qualified modeling portfolio photographer, C. A. Passinault, for a specialized, professional market, which is modeling. A wedding photographer or a portrait studio will not be able to give models what they need for an effective modeling portfolio, as you have to know what you are doing!This is the 12th picture in our Tampa Bay Modeling online portfolio. It doesnt matter, anymore, especially in Tampa Bay. Preparing To Fight!

There is a lot of preparation work going on here at Tampa Bay Modeling. To be specific, much of the work is on the sequel of many of the revolutionary features that Independent Modeling had back in 2002-2004. Independent Modeling is now a resources site focusing on promoting models, jobs, and tools. Many things that were on that site are a conflict of interest with what their focus is now, so much of it, including the sassy and opinionated mail bag section, is now a thing of the past.
We went through some of those IM 2004 archives today, especially the Mail Bag, and we were laughing so hard that our sides still hurt. That Monica Stevens was (and still is) brilliant. We need some of that wit, sarcasm, humor, and excellent advice and information on this site, and we are now going to get it. Since we will not be promoting models from our site, the road is clear for what we are about to do. We are about to kick it, and this site is going to become an important fighter in the Tampa Bay modeling industry.
Here is what we are working on.

1. Model Scam Fighting Resource
This will be much easier to use and will be more advanced then the model scam database that Independent Modeling had back in the day. We will be attacking patterns and ideas, and will not be implying anyone individually, either. The model scam fighting resource will be much larger than anything that Independent Modeling ever had, with a new database and scam fighting tools such as ASA agreements, relevant articles and tutorials, and more.
Oh, and for those of you out there that think that we will be using this to attack you, you can get over it now. If you have an issue with us helping the modeling industry, then you’re probably doing something wrong, as we will not be pointing our fingers at anyone.

2. Articles
Some of Independent Modeling’s most controversial articles from the past will be deployed here. We will also have industry experts working on articles, tutorials, interviews, reviews, anecdotes, stories, and more, too.

3. Mail Bag
Some of you are going to hate us for this. Remember model Monica Stevens and the hilarious weekly and then monthly mail bags on Independent Modeling that ran for several years? Well, we are getting an enhanced version that will be using a subject and date-based database archive much like the present Independent Modeling feedback database has. The difference is while theirs is strictly dry and professional, with updates as they get them, we will have more entertainment and will be updating ours once per month like the good old (new?) days!
The really cool news with our upcoming mail bag, which should debut in April 2006, is that professional independent model Monica Stevens herself is coming over here to do it like she did back in 2004 (and she can because Independent Modeling is not returning to that format). For the fans of her witty retorts, she is back!
I just hope that we hear from French Fry guy and some of those other characters. Those were fun reads! While we will be refraining from firing accusations and libelous remarks in the new mail bags, we will often parody and make fun of certain people, which will be sure to annoy some people. Anyway, the first mail bag will include reprints of the best of the old Independent Modeling mail bags, with editing to Monica’s responses by Monica herself when needed- The fry guy and some of the others will be posted there.
Presently, we are working with Monica to enhance what worked with the old mail bag format, and this will be considered a true sequel to what was done before, with monthly topics and other features added. I can’t wait!

With this now revealed, it needs to be stated that we are aware that some people out there are going to be thinking that this site is going to be attacking them, and we should let them know that this will not be the case. We are going after ideas and will be voicing our opinions, not attacking people in the industry. With that said, we’ll end it by stating that we will not respond to threats well. People are more than welcome to E-Mail our mailbag and debate with us, as that is their right, but credibility attacks and threats will not be tolerated, and Monica will deal with them in her own special way.
Here is to a new era, and a site that will actually become more like an old-school Independent Modeling with new twists. Just don’t hate us because we put you in your place and are able to win at debates.
