Studio photography is not nearly as cost effective, or appropriate, for modeling portfolio work.Keep in mind that this picture, for a modeling portfolio, was taken by a qualified modeling portfolio photographer, C. A. Passinault, for a specialized, professional market, which is modeling. A wedding photographer or a portrait studio will not be able to give models what they need for an effective modeling portfolio, as you have to know what you are doing!This is the 12th picture in our Tampa Bay Modeling online portfolio. Yet another Tampa model shows a marketable look in their portfolio. The best models are capable of the most looks, and are not locked into a single look!Agency model or independent model? It doesnt matter, anymore, especially in Tampa Bay. Professional models like this one can be booked without going through an agency, saving both the model and the job agency fees.Modeling portfolios need at least six looks, and by looks, we mean different looks. A composite cards needs at least five, on average, with a headshot on the front, and four different looks on the back of the comp card. New Emphasis On Modeling Resources

APRIL 24, 2012 NEWS UPDATE

Tampa Bay Modeling is planning an overhaul this spring and early summer, with a more comprehensive and intuitive layout, menu, and menu subsections (the quick reference link sections which were added just over a year ago were a stop-gap shortcut, or a band-aid, for what we were lacking. Those sections will still be important, but they won’t need to be emphasized once the overhaul is complete, and may be moved to submenus). We will be adding free modeling career tools such as pay vouchers, and other tools that we have literally been working on for years. These new additions will mirror, and augment, the re launch of Independent Modeling, as well as what will be available on the upcoming Advanced Model site when it launches in the coming weeks. Ironically, some of these tools were developed from enhancements which were developed for Florida Modeling Career back in 2008, which launched in late 2008. Florida Modeling Career has been dormant and incomplete since it launched, despite its advancements, and the new tools developed from its initial tools will be reverse-applied to that site when we get it up to speed this summer, which means that those advanced modeling career tools originally developed for Florida Modeling Career will literally skip a generation. Up until now, Florida Modeling Career was our most advanced modeling resource site, and a preview of what was coming. That will change.
The tools will be available free of charge, too. After all, it’s not about making money for us. We believe in what we are doing, as the modeling industry is corrupt and needs to be set straight. We are going to do the right thing.
So, by this summer, Independent Modeling will be the back-end, the source, and the main site. Tampa Bay Modeling and Florida Modeling Career sites will be our regional modeling resource sites which make up the middle. Advanced Model will become the front-end, and it will link to, and reference, the recent updates on all of the other site, as well as become the main marketing site for our collective of resource sites. With all of our emphasis on SEO and on search engine performance, we have to admit that this is pointless unless the sites themselves are useful for models and their modeling careers. Therefor, our focus will shift to making these sites as effective, and as useful, as possible, and our SEO efforts will become the benefit instead of the objective. Oh, and our modeling mail bag will return on Advanced Model, once it launches. That alone is worth the wait!
The priority will be in making these sites relevant and useful from now on.
