Thursday, October 27, 2005 New Design Spec Complete The EOS web team has completed the new design layout for the next Tampa Bay Modeling web site, and are now finalizing colors and format tweaks. The new main menu selection are as follows: NEWS, OPINION, RATES, FEATURES, MODELS, JOBS, RESOURCES, and CONTACT. There may be limited message board support for the new site, but that feature is still being debated (we may include article feedback forum threads much like Frontier Society will be doing). The new web site will feature lots of modeling pictures, and will showcase images from top Tampa Bay photography company Aurora PhotoArts, Tampa Bay photographer Andy Meng, and Orlando photographer Craig Huey. All of these photographers come highly recommended, and their work is exactly what models need. Both Aurora PhotoArts and Craig Huey have brand new sites for 2006 that are well worth checking out (Andy Meng is working on his new site). We will be working a lot with the photographers of the Round Table Photography association (found at TampaBayPhotographers.Com). We may showcase additional photographers in 2006. Tampa Bay Modeling will continue to assist the market with determining fair, professional rates. We have photographers trying to charge way too much, and others who charge way too little. An improved, decentralized Reverse Auction System will debut, too. We will be addressing professional rates for model testing, model portfolio photographers, models, make up artists, and businesses. What about TFP? Let's just say that you get what you pay for. Professionals may feel free to collaborate with other professionals if they wish, but real professionals have nothing to gain with TFP, and we'll convince you that TFP is not worth it. Free pictures? Sign us up if they are good quality, but you can guess why we will pass upon closer inspection. The next Tampa Bay Modeling site is expected to come online in November, 2005, with heavy content updates beginning in December. The new site is a hybrid Diana/ Venus Class site custom designed for Tampa Bay Modeling and is officially classified as a Lowie Class site by the designers at Tampa Bay advertising agency EOS MediaArts.
