Studio photography is not nearly as cost effective, or appropriate, for modeling portfolio work.Keep in mind that this picture, for a modeling portfolio, was taken by a qualified modeling portfolio photographer, C. A. Passinault, for a specialized, professional market, which is modeling. A wedding photographer or a portrait studio will not be able to give models what they need for an effective modeling portfolio, as you have to know what you are doing!This is the 12th picture in our Tampa Bay Modeling online portfolio. Yet another Tampa model shows a marketable look in their portfolio. The best models are capable of the most looks, and are not locked into a single look!Agency model or independent model? It doesnt matter, anymore, especially in Tampa Bay. Professional models like this one can be booked without going through an agency, saving both the model and the job agency fees.Modeling portfolios need at least six looks, and by looks, we mean different looks. A composite cards needs at least five, on average, with a headshot on the front, and four different looks on the back of the comp card. Picture Description: This is a picture taken on September 6, 2003, of aspiring model Megan, taken during an Espy model testing program photography session in Brandon, Florida. Espy, which is Latin for “I see”, is a long-running model testing program from Aurora PhotoArts, dating back to 2001. Espy was way ahead of its time. For 2013 and 2014, Espy has been overhauled and improved in every way; it is now fully compatible with other services from Aurora PhotoArts. The photography part of the program, however, remains essentially the same, as it was good to begin with.
The modern Espy, like its earlier version, is not meant to be a modeling portfolio photography session, and does not give the participants enough looks, or pictures, for a full portfolio. Although the pictures can be used for a modeling portfolio, and the full files are made available for that purpose, as they are modeling portfolio quality, the purpose of this model testing photography session is to evaluate a prospective model.
The Espy model testing program by Aurora PhotoArts has a long history and a rich legacy, going back over 12 years at the time of this writing.
Although details of the Espy model testing program from 2003 are still classified, the details of the new program are even more tightly guarded, and are only released to clients.

Photography Session Notes: Although most of the information about this Espy model testing session has been explained above, it must be noted that this particular session had a total of three models participating. Some Espy sessions had as many as six aspiring models participating.
The current Espy model testing program is refined over its predecessor, and is capable of handling more models. There are other differences, too, but the programs are largely the same.

Although the photograph used in this picture is 10 years old, it works. This image, and its format, will be the last of its kind here on Tampa Bay Modeling, as new image templates are in development for the 2014 Tampa Bay Modeling site, which will be largely brand new as Tampa Bay Modeling celebrates its 10th year. The new image file format will be derived from the new Tampa Bay Film image format, using the latest technologies and design formats developed for Aurora PhotoArts. While this image uses new watermarking technology developed for the new Aurora PhotoArts Mosaic Class site circa 2011, it is an outdated, old format, and is now completely obsolete.
Likewise, the format of this photograph information page will be retired after this post. We wil be using a new format which is simplified to reduce the risk of duplicate content issues, while using an enhanced version of this format as a guide rule for formatting and structuring the content description.
