First modeling portfolio picture of a Tampa model on Tampa Bay Modeling. All portfolio photographs, unless otherwise noted, by C. A. Passinault, lead photographer for Aurora PhotoArts Tampa Photography and Design, as well as Director of Tampa Bay Modeling. C. A. Passinault is a top photographer, as well as a modeling expert.Second model photograph on Tampa Bay Modeling. Click on the image for an anecdote of the modeling shoot which produced this picture. In this third picture, you can see why the Tampa Bay area is one of the best in the world for modeling portfolio development work. Photograph by Tampa photographer C. A. Passinault.Image four of our online portfolio of another Tampa model. This photograph, if we are not mistaken, was taken on location in the Tampa Bay area. The best modeling portfolio photographs are location shots. This is another great picture. This is the fifth model photograph on Tampa Bay Modeling. Pictures featured in our thumbnail array may not be the same as those of models which are in our featured model section, but often, they are one and the same.Unmatched in any Florida modeling market. The quality of this image is excellent! Photograph by C. A. Passinault, our resident photographer and modeling expert.Another top Tampa model gets their look on. The best models can obtain a wide range of looks, as you can see when you look at other pictures of this model! Is it any wonder why more and more companies and art directors are booking independent models without going through an agency? Proof that you can be a professional model, with a lucrative career, without being dependent upon an agency to find and book modeling jobs!Another awesome photograph of a Tampa model by modeling photographer C. A. Passinault, lead photographer Aurora PhotoArts, and director of Tampa Bay Modeling. For modeling portfolio work in the Tampa Bay area, nothing beats location work. Studio photography is not nearly as cost effective, or appropriate, for modeling portfolio work.Keep in mind that this picture, for a modeling portfolio, was taken by a qualified modeling portfolio photographer, C. A. Passinault, for a specialized, professional market, which is modeling. A wedding photographer or a portrait studio will not be able to give models what they need for an effective modeling portfolio, as you have to know what you are doing! This is the 12th picture in our Tampa Bay Modeling online portfolio. Yet another Tampa model shows a marketable look in their portfolio. The best models are capable of the most looks, and are not locked into a single look!Agency model or independent model? It doesnt matter, anymore, especially in Tampa Bay. Professional models like this one can be booked without going through an agency, saving both the model and the job agency fees.Modeling portfolios need at least six looks, and by looks, we mean different looks. A composite cards needs at least five, on average, with a headshot on the front, and four different looks on the back of the comp card. This Tampa model is demonstrating a marketable look right now, in this photography. Picture by C. A. Passinault.

OCTOBER 2007

Going into year 4 as Tampa Bay's modeling authority.

INTRODUCTION BY MODEL MONICA STEVENS

Hello everyone! Top Tampa fashion model Monica Stevens here, once again, celebrating the third anniversary of the launch of Tampa Bay Modeling! Going into our fourth year, we will continue to be your top modeling career resource as we grow and expand. This year will be our best yet!
There are some changes starting with this mailbag, too. You will notice that my responses will be brief and too the point, cutting my twenty page mailbags down to a easier to write and easier to read two to three pages. It's not that I don't love you all, because I do. It's not that I am brushing your letters off, because I am not. We determined that this would be the most efficient way of doing this, and I need to learn to get my point across in a paragraph or two. Plus, I have been really busy with my modeling career lately, and I seldom have more than three spare hours to keep with this each month. Yes, it is that busy.
So, what if the letters require a lengthy response? Easy. We will have one of our staff models write an article or tutorial addressing your concern, and link to it from my brief response once it is online. This will be great. It will be easier to read the mailbags, and you will still get all of the information that you need. It will be better for the Tampa Bay Modeling web site, too, as we will be able to organize relevant content like articles and tutorials more easily, and you'll be able to find what you are looking fr in a snap instead of spending hours reading my monthly novels.
There are other reasons that we need to do this, too. Our web team has been slammed, and they just created a new workflow standard with all of the talent resource sites. With Frontier Society launching, Independent Modeling taking priority, and the Independent Sites updating massively in the next two years, they had to become organized. It begins, and this is the way that it has to be.

A Model Consultant Strikes Back

Monica,
You are so insulting! Who do you think you are? You're probably not even really a model. We have only seen you sit on this modeling hate site and spend all of your time running your mouth, you smartass little bitch!
What makes you the authority on modeling? I know more about this business than you do. That is why I make a living as a modeling consultant and you don't!
You make all of these false allegations and assumptions about me and other model consultants who share my profession. We are a legitimate part of the modeling industry! I would just love to see your slanderous ass dragged into court so you can be exposed for the fraud that you are and have that ass of yours sued off. Your victims could have this stupid web site shut down, and this would truly help the integrity of the modeling industry.
I do not steal information from your site or from Independent Modeling. The information on all of these so called modeling "resource" sites is whacked and misleading, and neither myself or any other model consultant uses your sites or visits them.
So, you think that model consultation companies are a another middle man to middle men? Don't you know anything about business, darling? Only we know all of the contacts, and we are providing a useful purpose for models. We help them to build professional portfolios and know the legitimate people to refer them to. Let's see any modeling resource site do that! Yes, I also get a referral fee for every single referral. Do you get that?
You may not think that model consultants are very smart, but this one is smart enough to see you and your Tampa Bay Modeling web site for what it really is: A modeling hate site full of misleading information and false allegations with some mysterious writer who claims to be a model running their mouth every month!
And Independent Modeling is as good as shut down, too! Don't lie to people and promise that it will be updated. You keep saying that and it never is! There hasn't been a real update on that site for years and it deserves to be a failure!
- Joan, a model consultant from Tampa Bay, Florida

Hello Joan,
Who is making assumptions and false allegations, now?
You're just mad because we are better at this than you are, we know more about modeling, and we undermine your business by offering superior and much more information than you do free of charge and with no questionable referrals attached. There you go. Allow me to address your concerns. You may be even more pissed off when I finish with you, but I don't really care. You're mean, unprofessional, and pathetic.
First of all, go ahead and drag me into court. The case would be thrown out, and I will countersue you. You will find me to be a capable professional model who will defeat you in any debate and you will find yourself soundly put in your place.
Ah, where to begin? Here we go...

1. Your attitude is unprofessional

2. Model consultants DO steal from us

3. Our information is good, and you know it

4. We know more contacts, and our advice is not a conflict of interest

5. You make a living at our expense

One And The Same

You models are real funny there. I like how Tampa Bay Modeling is supposedly the leading modeling resource and Independent Modeling has slowed down by losing most of their visitors. Why don't you just tell the truth and admit that TAMPA BAY MODELING and INDEPENDENT MODELING are the same goddamn web site and are run by the same model scam!!!!!!!!!!!
Your sites, which are one site, suck, and I would never refer it to any of my professional contacts in the modeling industry. You should leave the real modeling professionals alone and give up! We make money in our careers ad you just write a bunch of BS for stupids to believe.
Dick, a model portfolio photographer from Tampa Bay, Florida
